| DAY 1 |
Depart Johannesburg and continue via Wibank to Middleburg for a brief
stop. Continue to Belfast, Lydenburg, Origstad and Blyde River. In the
afternoon explore the Panorama route, visiting Bourke's Luck Potholes,
the Three Rondavels and Pilgrims Rest. Continue to Hazyview for dinner
and overnight at the farmhouse. |
| DAY 2 |
After breakfast continue to the Game Reserve and arrive at the private
lodge of Sabi Sabi or Ngala for lunch. Late afternoon or early evening
game drives are conducted in open landrovers with experienced armed rangers
and Shangaan trekkers. Dinner and overnight at Sabi Sabi or Ngala. |
| DAY 3 |
Wake early for tea and rusks before leaving for another game drive
in an open safari vehicle. Return mid- morning for a sumptuous brunch before
leaving Sabi Sabi/ Ngala and entering the world- famous Kruger National
Park (20,000 sq. km. in extent) where a wide variety of game can be seen.
Late afternoon, arrive at Madelane Lodge for dinner and overnight. |
| DAY 4 |
Another early rise for a game drive with breakfast en route. Leave
the Park and continue via Barbeton, Badplaas and Amsterdam to the Zululand
towns of Piet Retief and Pongola. Late afternoon game drive in Hluhluwe.
Dinner and overnight at Hluhluwe. |
| DAY 5 |
After breakfast drive to St. Lucia for a cruise on the lake. Continue
to Durban along the coastal route through Natal's sugar cane fields. Late
afternoon arrival in Durban. |
