To meet these gentle giants is truly one of life's great experiences. You can come close to these fascinating creatures living in the wild in their own habitat. It is understandable why visitors from all corners of planet Earth travel thousands of miles to enjoy this unique adventures. We can offer you tours of three different countries in Rwanda, Uganda and Zaire. 

RWANDA 
The rare Mountain Gorilla(Gorilla gorilla brengei) can be seen in its natural surroundings in the Volcanoes National Park in the North West of Rwanda. There is a direct flight from Nairobi by Kenya Airways to Kigali, capital of Rwanda, from where the tours begin. 

UGANDA 
In Uganda, the Bwindi Impenetrable forest  is the sanctuary for almost half  of the world's  population  of mountain gorillas (about 330 of 600), which is the rarest race of  gorilla. Established as a  safe habitat for several families of mountain gorilla, it is now the location for an important scientific conservation programme. Gorilla tracking visits are limited to small  groups. 
From Entebbe Airport  you will be transferred to Kampala- your safari center. You then travel by four wheel drive vehicle to Kabale and Buhuama- the park entrance gate. In the same direction out of Kampala via Kabale and Kisoro (150 kms) you can reach Mgahinga National Park. 
The mountain  gorillas are the most awe- inspiring animals to be found in Africa. They have faced extinction but today sound gorilla  policies have slowed down their decline, and in  the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park they are able to establish their family groups untroubled by predatory man. 
Here, on the slopes of the Virunga Mountains , in the south west Uganda, the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (33.7 sq. kms)has been established to provide a secure habitat for these massive, but gentle, creatures. 

ZAIRE 
You can also visit the Lowland Gorillas (Gorilla gorilla graueri) in Kahuzi -Beiga National Park in Zaire. This is the place where Diane Fossey conducted her first research and it is at present home to more than 200 gorillas. 
Normally clients fly to Bujumbura (Burundi) from Nairobi. Alternative routing can be organized through Kigali (Rwanda) with a transfer by road to Bukavu.
